Bishop’s Summer Academic and
Fun Enrichment Program (B-SAFE)
St. Luke’s-San Lucas Church, Chelsea has hosted the B-SAFE
Program since the Summer of 2008 with great success. It provides
local children and youth with a safe place where they fill their
summer days with a combination of sports, field trips, and
opportunities to further their academic skills and their
creative talents, and develop new friendships.
This is a ministry of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church from
Boston, that, operating in six sites, brings together staff
and volunteers from partner churches who provide nourishment
and recreation to the program participants. Please, see the
